Barbara was a true woman of character, strong in her faith and in her desire to live the best life she could. Every day she faced adversity, and never failed to meet her challenges. She had a pure heart, and acted from a place of love and respect for everyone she knew. She constantly strove to help anyone she could, and to make her community a better place to live. She was a wonderful Mom to her 3 rescued cats. Her courage and strength remind me every day to try and be a better person. I will miss you Barb. You will always live in my heart. May God hold you close for Eternity.

Barb was someone most of us in the community knew. Several years ago she realized that "box tops" had a value. She saw a note to my co-workers that my daughter was saving them to take to school. Once she understood that they had value she brought many, many zip lock bags of "box tops" she found to me for my daughter. She was smarter than most realized and she will be missed in our community.

I would be pretty sure God has set Barbara on some weighty details there in heaven. She could carry out a task to the inth degree, and ask for more. I invited her to church a couple of months ago, and she did indeed come, but after the service. However, she packed along with her a package for one of her friends who attended the church (that was typical). No doubt, something they said they "liked" and she searched until she found it. Barbara never failed to remember our parents Doris and Jim, as well as our brother Paul. I expect they have all become reacquainted by now!

I thought I heard her voice the other day, then realized I had not, but I missed her. And it will be a while until I don't.
