Terry Riley Obituary

Terry Wayne Riley was the middle child of three brothers, he was born in-between his older brother, Bill, and his younger brother, Tim, on April 4, 1952, in Dexter, Miss., to Alvin Riley and Odell Claire Bowen.

When Terry was about five years old, his family moved to the California Bay area and then to Burns in 1967. Terry attended schools in Burns and graduated from Crane High School. He moved back to California and attended school for auto body and painting for several years. Terry enjoyed working on old cars and rebuilt a few cars.

He later moved back to Burns in 1998, when he started his own lawn care business and did odd jobs for local businesses while continuing his auto body work as a side job. He loved to visit with people and liked to collect things.

He never had children of his own, but loved to entertain kids and play Santa. Terry had numerous wives and was always looking for the right one. He attended various churches in Burns trying to find the right one.

Terry is survived by his brother, Tim K. Riley (partner, Dauna); stepbrother, Ray Lawson (Glenna); nephews, Jeff Riley, Brian (Ashley) Riley, Cody (Natalie) Riley, Dalton (Ashley) Riley, Charlotte Lawson, and Steve Lawson; three great-nephews and-nieces.

Terry is preceded in death by his father, Alvin Riley, mother, Odell Lawson, stepfather, Arlon Lawson; brother, Bill Riley; and stepsister, Leveda Fowler.
