Obituary
Russell Harry Kowalski, 75, passed unexpectedly on Vaterans Day. 11/11/2022. He was born, August 5th, 1947 in Burns, OR to the parents, Harry and Bobbie Kowalski.
Russell graduated Burns High School 1966, Class President and overall amazing athlete. Following graduation, he served with the US Army for 28 years, 3 tours to Vietnam in the Vietnam War. After the war, he received his teaching degree from Eastern, OR in 1982. He was a member of the Lions Club for many years and a volunteer to any community he lived in.
He was predeceased by his parents. Surviving family includes his sons, Peter Kowalski and Kyle Kowalski, daughter, Kayla Evans and two grandchildren. 4 Dogs and 2 cats still remain at residence, need rehoming and also donations for food are welcome. call 5416104147.
A service of remembrance will be announced next summer with Veteran Honors.
