Edward Lesniak Obituary


Edward Miles (Bones) Lesniak died peacefully in his home surrounded by his family on Thursday October 21, 2021. He was born on October 21, 1941 in Waterburry Connecticut to Edward Lesniak and Tonya Babiy. After high school graduation Miles joined the military in 1959 and served until 1962 on the USS Saratoga Carrier. After he left the Navy he married and had two children Elizabeth and Michael. In 1977 he moved to Portland, married Susan Wood and adopted her two children Renee and Debbie. They moved to Burns and started his painting business. In 1991 he married Dee Pallin who had four children Dorie, Melissa, Jeffrey and Crystal. Together there are many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He loved being in the military because it gave him the opportunity to travel and see the world. Miles was very involved in his community, an avid golfer and a gifted wood worker. He also loved to have friends come visit his shop. 
Miles is proceeded in death by his Father, Mother, Uncle, Sister May, Cousin Steven, Son Micheal and Grandson Brandon.
There will be a Celebration of Life for Miles (Bones) Lesniak.  It will be held on November 6, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Nazarene Church with pie to follow. A time to come and share your stories.  Contributions in his memory can be made to the Harney County Senior Citizen Center.
