Vicki Lee Hughes died Sept. 25 at her home in Burns. Vicki was born April 24, 1949, to Jim and Gladys Gardner in Burns. Vicki and her family resided in Drewsey for many years before moving to Redmond. Vicki married Robert Dean Hughes on Dec. 24, 1968. The couple resided in Redmond before moving to Klamath Falls. They then moved to Burns, where they lived for the past 16 years. Vicki liked sewing and talking with family and friends. She is most remembered by family and friends for her great cooking. She is survived by her husband, Robert D. Hughes; daughters, Jennifer Hughes and Deanna Wilson both of Burns; grandchildren, Travis Hatley of La Grande, Samantha and Candace Hatley of Klamath Falls and Kevin and Robert Hughes of Burns. A private memorial service will be held in Burns by family and friends.
