Sandra Louise Kenyon (Hillman) 66, passed away on August 28, 2019 at her home in Burns. Sandi was a loving mother to two children and the devout Grandmother to 6 grandchildren. She loved nothing more than just being around her family, whether cheering on her grandkids at sporting events, traveling across the country for Pageants, or just hanging out eating ice cream and watching movies.
Sandi was born on July 3, 1953 in Caldwell, Idaho to Minnie (Drinnon) and Willis Hillman. Sandi graduated from Burns High School in 1971. During her Senior Year, she met the love of her life, Clyde Kenyon. Clyde and Sandi were married on December 15, 1971. Sandi raised 2 wonderful children, who gave her 6 grandchildren and countless others who called her grandma. Even if you were not related by blood, Sandi considered you part of the family and was always willing to reach out and help those who needed it. Her house was always open, and her love knew no bounds.
Sandi is survived by her loving husband, Clyde; her 2 children, Elsie (Kevin Mulcare) and Josh (Shiloh); 6 grandchildren, Robert, Allison, Ty, Jacelyn, Cadyn, and Skylyn; siblings Marvin and Willoma (Poe); and Sister-in-laws Janice, Dorothy, and Karen and Brother-in-laws Claude and Lloyd; nieces Heather, Verna, Jenny, Amy, Adrienne, Teresa, and Anna ; and nephews Kenny, Pat, Shane, Judd, Billy, Russell, Eric, Brian, Allen, and Parker and numerous Great nieces and great nephews. Sandi was preceded in death by her mother and father, Minnie and Willis, her brother Terry, brother-in law Tim and nephew Ty.
Sandi had a bright soul that could help light those around her. She spent her life taking care of others. She loved to camp and spending time on the Ranch and night calving with her husband. She enjoyed her time on the ranch in Riley with her friends Rich and Mikki Mason and their children Amanda and Taylor. She was always there whenever you needed her and now, she will be watching over all of us as God's newest Angel.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Faith Baptist Church (777 N Saginaw Avenue, Hines, Oregon 97738) on Saturday, September 7th from 12-3pm. The Family asks for donations in lieu of flowers to Harney County Hospice.
