Ronnie Dean Dawson, age 50, passed away on October 27th, 2024 in Burns, OR. He was born on April 8th 1974, in Burns, Oregon, to Clifford and Carol Dawson. He was a 1992 graduate of Burns High School.

Ron grew up around ranching and livestock as the son of a buckaroo and kept many of the ideals of that lifestyle as an adult. He enjoyed taking care of his horses and cattle, and spent many years helping at brandings on his trusty mare, Pokey Doc. Ron had a quick wit and feisty personality and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his son Ian Dawson, sister Teresa Stephens (Dawson), brother-in-law Jeremiah Stephens and many cousins. A memorial will be planned at a later date.
