Rickey Smith 56, died on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at his home in Burns.

Rick was bornin Burns, Oregon on July 17, 1964 to Gail (Pete) and Clarence (Bud) Smith.  He was raised in and went to school in Harney County.  He loved hunting, fishing and camping.  Rick moved to Utah, married and worked in the restaurant business for many years.  He returned to Harney County in 2009, divorced and worked at many local business.  Rick was a great cook and had a huge heart.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Gail Smith.  He is survived by his father, Clarence, brother Darrell (Debbie) Smith, nephews Toby (Tanya) Smith, Chris (LeeAnna) Smith, all of Harney County and Nephew Kevin (Mikayla) Smith of Redmond, Oregon, Aunt Arlene Williams, Aunt Larraine Tiller, cousins Randy (Connie) Tiller all of Harney County and Rocky Tiller of Gilchrist, Oregon.
