Phil Pynes of Portland, Oregon died on June 3, 2013 at his home of age related causes. He was 82 years old.
He was born on May 8, 1931 in Burns, Oregon to Sam & Sally (Vick) Pynes. He was married to Shan Rainey in 1953 and she died in 1977. He then married Linda A. Cully in 1980. He attended the University of Oregon, class of 1953 and worked in transportation, lumber and steel companies. He retired in 1997.
Survivors include his wife, Linda, two brothers, Jack of Eugene and Fred of Lebanon. A sister, Sue Beals of Salem and six children, Philip Jr. of Eugene, Steven of Miami Beach, FL., Mark of Harrisburg, PA., Ann of Eugene, Lance of Portland, and Amy of Czech Republic. Also, step-son, Robert of Portland and nine grandchildren, Amber Cully Heckley, Nicholas Cully, Haley and Hayden Damian, Owen, Ashley and Griffin Seymour, Cole and Helen Pynes and many neices and nephews.
Burial will be in Burns Cemetery, Burns, Oregon on Friday, June 8, 2013.
