Mildred Wocelka of Hines, passed away on June 10, 2022 at The Aspens Assisted Living Community. She was 95 years of age.

Mildred Farly was born Oct. 10, 1926 in Park Falls, Wis. Mildred was the oldest of three children.

On July 14, 1945, Mildred married her high school sweetheart, Bob Wocelka. While Bob was serving in the Army, Mildred worked at the telephone company. After the birth of their daughter in 1950, the family moved from Wisconsin to Harney County. Originally, Mildred thought she was moving to Seattle.

Mildred was hired by Craddock-Shepherd International Harvester dealership and then went to work for John McAllister as a bookkeeper at Harney County Farm Supply when the Craddock-Sheppard business closed.

Before Bob passed, Mildred and Bob were married 74-years. She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl of Reston, Va.; son, Bob of Hines; and brother, Bill of Wells, Mich.
