Our beloved wife and mother Joan Hofman passed away peacefully at home on June 29, 2016. Joan was born in Ontario, Oregon to Harold and Nell Sevey on July 27, 1944. Joan and her twin brother Gene were the youngest of seven children. After Harold's death Nell moved the family to Hines, Oregon where Joan met Earl Hofman. The couple were married on November 26, 1967. They soon celebrated the birth of their daughter Tammy Kay. Three sons followed Kevin John, Christopher Anthony, and Michael Henry. Joan enjoyed caring for her family, camping, and visiting with friends and family. She was also a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. Joan is survived by her husband of 49 years, Earl Hofman of Hines, Oregon. Her daughter Tammy Mock (Arnie) of Jacksonville, Florida. Son Kevin Hofman (Joyce) of Malad, Idaho. Sons Christopher Hofman of Missoula, Montana; and Michael Hofman of Burns, Oregon. Brother Lauren Sevey of Los Angeles, California, and Brother Gene Sevey (Lynn) of Bend, Oregon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joan was proceeded in death by her parents Harold and Nell Sevey; Brothers Lloyd and Don Sevey; and sisters Ellen Russel and Beverly Threadgill.
