Janice (Church) Lawson was born in Canute, Oklahoma on July 24, 1938 to Cartis and Hulda (Reinschmiedt) Church. She joined brothers Charles & Duane.  She passed peacefully on February 5, 2022.

Sometime in the early 40's the family moved to the Los Angeles area of California. Her folks divorced there and her Dad married Myrtle who had a daughter Evelyn Ruth.

Janice met Gwin Lawson in the early 50's and in 1954 they married and in 1956 they had a son, Jesse and a daughter, Jennifer (Lawson) Williams in 1958.

Together the family lived in the Los Angeles area until they moved to Burns, Oregon in 1993. Gwin and Janice devoted their lives to their family and friends and always helping anyone in need.

Janice's husband of 65 years,Gwin, went on before her in October of 2019. She is survived by her children Jesse (Lilly), Jennifer (Mike); grandchildren Brandy (Tim), Michelle (Dave), Sarah, David (Stacey), Arly (Vera); great grandchildren Bella, Jori, Winter, Jayden, Enzo and Benny and 3 great great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins
