Gary was born February 24, 1942 in Nampa, Idaho to parents Jess and Loretta Ereno.  The family moved to Emmitt, Idaho when Gary was a year old and then to Burns, Oregon.  Gary graduated from Saint Martin's High School in 1960 where he was vice president of the senior class and president of the debate club.  He went on to graduate from the University of Portland in 1966 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  After graduation, Gary worked in the Ereno Men's Store in Burns, Oregon and then for NAPA Auto Parts in Burns and Redmond, Oregon.  In 1967, he married Nancy Hinshaw.  They had a daughter and a son before divorcing in 1980.  Gary moved to Calera, Oklahoma in 2006 to be closer to his children and their families. Gary had a gift for putting people at ease and making them feel special.  He enjoyed meeting new people and making them smile with his great sense of humor.  His kids always joked that Gary must know every person in Oregon.  He loved spoiling his kids and grandkids, and always remembered to send his daughter and daughter-in-law flowers on special occasions.  Gary loved hunting and fishing with his buddies.  At home, he enjoyed woodworking, growing his beautiful roses and his faithful dog, Sammy. Gary is survived by his sister Maryanne Kaplan, daughter Vickie Corbett, son-in-law Brent Corbett, son John Ereno, daughter-in-law Lainie Ereno, grandson Riley Ereno, granddaughter Mykayla Ereno, niece Kelly Biondi, niece Katrina Kaplan, niece Kristin Boyd, cousin Terri Williams and cousin-in-law Ike Williams.
