David A. Clark, age 67, died at home with family, January 20, 2022. He was born November 16, 1954 in Salinas, California, son of Sanford Arthur Stockton and Mary Lou (Sadler) Clark. Dave graduated from Upperlake High School in California. Following graduation he served in the army completing Basic Training at Fort Ord and stationed in Germany. He moved to Oregon in the late 70s, working as a mechanic, bindery manager, and contractor. He was a "Hire a Husband" contractor for a time in Bend. His work and business, "Dave's Handyman Service" was well known throughout Central/Eastern Oregon. He loved Oregon's high desert; an avid outdoorsman, hunting, fishing and camping. He also enjoyed woodworking and knife making, generously sharing his craft with family and friends. In addition to his parents, Dave was predeceased by his wife, Karen (Mastrud) Clark. Surviving are his son Michael Clark; brother Dennis Clark and son Casey; sister and husband Susan and John Beaver and son Miles; Karen's children Kerri Lynne, Kip and wife Stacey Schosson, and Kyle and wife Anita Schosson; her brother and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews; and partner Becky Shull. Dave was a loyal family member and friend.
