Cheryl Callaway passed away September 22nd in Boise with family and friends by her side after a very courageous battle with cancer.   A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at LaFollette's Chapel at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow in the Burns Cemetery. Cheryl was born September 19, 1951 to Ray and Luella Turley. She attended school in Burns and graduated in 1969. Then moved to Ontario to attend college. She moved back to Burns where she married Mike Callaway. They had two children. Zach who was born in 1976 and then Michelle in 1979. Her two kids were her world. She always made sure that she devoted all of her free time to them. She loved to camp, can, knit, and spend time with family. She worked at Snow Mountain Pine in the shipping department until it closed then worked for the Forest Service for a short time before she accepted a job in the office at Hospice/Home Health where she worked her way up to office manager. She loved working with everyone in the office but decided after 20 plus years she would retire. Cheryl is survived by her son Zach Callaway of Ontario; daughter Michelle Rott of Burns; brother Randy Turley of Riddle; nephew Brandon Turley of Bend; and numerous close friends.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Luella Turley.
