Barbara J. Barclay, 81 died on June 11, 2016 at her home in Hines, after a long respiratory illness.  Barbara was born on June 5, 1935 in Portland, Oregon to Vaugh Whitaker and Maxine Kinderman.  She graduated from Corvallis High School.  She married Leo R. Barclay on November 22, 1958 they lived in Corvallis area until she moved to Fields-Denio area in 1974.  She enjoyed farming and was an avid bookkeeper. She is survived by her husband, Leo Barclay, Son Terry Barclay and daughter Jeanny Lewis and grandchildren: Sean Lewis and Taylor Lewis. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the Denio Community Hall.  Contributions in Barbara's memory can be made to the Denio Community Club.
