Justin M DeLaRosa, 28 died on November 10, 2012.

A Funeral Service Justin Martin DeLaRosa will be held on Friday, November 16th at 10:00 a.m. at the Burns Paiute Gathering Center on the Burns Paiute Reservation.  He was the son of Jose DeLaRosa, Sr. and Deborah (Sam) DeLaRosa.

Justin Martin De La Rosa was born in Dallas, Texas, to Jose and Deborah De La Rosa, Oct.5, 1984.

A chubby baby boy, he lived in Dallas, Texas until he was 5 years old, when the family returned to Burns. At that time, he began kindergarten at Slater Elementary School. The family remained in the area until Justin was 12, when they relocated to Salem. Justin attended school in Salem briefly, before moving to Mt. Angel, where he successfully completed his G.E.D. in 2002. Since then, he had worked in various customer service type jobs – these jobs were fitting to Justin’s outgoing personality.

He was such a character, and there was never a dull moment when he was around. Justin was a good-hearted guy, always full of laughs and had never-ending jokes. Of course, we can’t forget that “oh-so goofy laugh of his.” Above all, he truly enjoyed spending his days with numerous family and friends and was very proud to be Burns Paiute. As all, Justin was finding his way in this world, especially within this past year. He was working hard to improve his life, not only for himself, but his two children. In doing so, he maintained a full-time job, continually looking forward to his weekends, a happy time spent with his precious sons.

Justin leaves behind his two sons, Angel, 11; and Justin Jr., 9. The two were Justin’s world, and he loved them deeply.

Justin is survived by his parents, Jose and Deborah De La Rosa of Burns; sisters, Vanessa Gonzalez of Salem; and Josie Chavarria of Eagle Pass, Texas; brothers, Joe De La Rosa of Tualatin; and Tony De La Rosa of Klamath Falls; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Juan De La Rosa in 1991.
He leaves behind two sons; Angel age 11 & Justin DeLaRosa age 9 from Mount Angel, Oregon.  Sisters; Josie Chavaria from Eagle Pass, Texas; Vanessa DeLaRosa from Salem, Oregon; Brothers, Jose DeLaRosa, Jr. from Portland, Oregon and Tony DeLaRosa from Klamath Falls, Oregon.  Grandparents; Clifford & Jane Sam from Burns and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins.
