Floydette,
It was with sadness that I read of Leonard’s passing.  Where have the years gone??  We can’t be so old we die?!?!?  I hope his passing was peaceful.  How are you doing?  I’m so glad you are with your family and good friends in Burns!  Guy and I send out love and sympathy to you and the boys with their wives and sweet kids!  Please give Leasa and Nathan our love!  We send our prayers!  Love to you all!  Guy and Sandra Cooke

Floydette and family, it is with great sorrow to hear of Leonards passing on to the next life. I worked with Leonard for many years at Bend Millworks. He was my boss, my mentor and my friend. He introduced me to jig fishing on both the lower and upper Deschutes river. He insisted I keep it secret. This was in the seventies....now everyone is using jigs. He also introduced me to eating grasshoppers. I have so many fond memories of time with Leonard. It was an honor and a pleasure to have associated with Leonard.
