So sorry to hear of Mike's death. I'm glad I had a chance to visit with him when I was there last summer. In reflecting about him, it was a joy to be around him. I can hear his booming voice shouting in heaven, "Is that ___?  It's so good to see you!" He will be greatly missed but will not be forgotten.

So sorry to hear about Mike.  It won't seem right pregging cattle without him teasing everyone, helping us out, and keeping things going smoothly.  He will be in our thoughts often when we're around those corrals, especially.  He gave a lot of himself to all those around him - a wonderful legacy not many accomplish.  Our prayers to the family and especially to the grandkids with too short of memories of him.

I am so sorry.  Mike was such a special man.  When I lived in Burns he helped us (Petersen Brothers) preg cows each fall.  Always a smile, always laughing.  In later years when ever I say him always friendly with a good word for all.  I am so sorry for your loss.  You are in my prayers.

Dear God,
Thank you so much and I am so Grateful that you brought Mike and Donna into my life so many years ago. Amen   Mike,  I will miss our dog talks, dairy cow talks but most of all I will miss you praying with me at the drop of a hat, anywhere and any time.  So it is up to us one and all to follow that example, to stop and pray at the drop of the hat, when the mood strikes us, with anyone willing to get down on bended knee.  To express our Gratitude to those that touch our lives, for God putting them in our presents.  Jesus, take the wheel.  See you when I get home.  Loving prayers to you all

Donna, Just heard and Jodel and I are so sorry for your loss. Meeting Big Mike at STEPS was one of the true blessings of our life. I am so grateful for all his encouraging words, for all the laughter and for his unwavering commitment to the Word of God.
He may be a cow man, but God called him to shepherd and he did both with great love and passion.
He is celebrating with His Lord now and telling stories like always. Mike I am glad that you have gone home and until we meet again. Thanks brother for being faithful.
