|It is hard to put into words Rodney's life. I will say that he did it his way. We have been friends for 50 years and I will miss him greatly. Robb (my husband)was at his place memerial day to help him with a dig. We spoke often and I will miss the phone calls. Rodney had many, many friends and will be greatly missed by all. Rest in Peace old friend. Gayle|

Respects & Regards, Rod!
How we, the Clackamette River Gem & Mineral Club, miss your years of annual outings & memories shared. Rod always took good care of us and he made certain that we shared his passion for rocks as the ticket into his ranch.
Thanks to Rod, thousands of Oregonians have found their roots in the rocks of Buchanan Ranch.
In a word, Rod is irreplacable ! The Ranch field trip is ICONIC in Oregon Rocks.
Which brings me to the emails that I have been swaping with Rod's friend Tim Fisher. I turned to TIM for assistance with this year's Buchanan Ranch Gem Club Field Trip. I have been designated as Gem Club Leader & Rep.
Please contact me at: (503) 789-3618 or email email@example.com
What follows is my latest email to Tim Fisher.
Have agonized & agonized over Buchanan Ranch. I am sorry hearing about Ron.
Regards & Respects to the family.
Could you pass me the phone # as I'm going to keep trying to reach a Rod's family member
.....or perhaps a real estate agent in the area or perhaps taxlot info will give me the lead I need to establish contact.
Hell, I might even consider buying it to keep it in the OR Rockhound hands.
I'm even considering driving out to Buchanan Ranch (8 hrs each way) to see if any family members are living out there.
Any of your ideas that might assist me would be most appreciated. I haven't given up yet.
