Dear Joe and Sharon,
My heart aches for you. Damon will remain in our hearts and eventually that ache will lessen.  So many wonderful memories to keep him our thoughts.
Like you said in recent phone conversations, God is good all the time and He is still Sovereign.  He is also the Healer of broken hearts.  Let the hand of the Great Physician touch yours, deeply.
You are in our prayers, continually.

Joe and Sharon, we are so saddened by the loss of Damon.  We know the grief and sorrow that you are experiencing but we know also that you are strong in your faith and in the knowledge that God, His angels and those preceding him to eternal rest have embraced him in love and happiness for the rest of time.  May God keep you strong until you can be with Damon again.

No matter how little or long we knew Damon, we were better for it.

We mourn for the Davis family in their loss. Our prayer is for your comfort in this difficult time.

Sigh... there really aren't any words that I could write that could make it better...  I am soooooo truly sorry that you are having to walk through this nightmare, I wish with all my heart that I could turn the clock back for you, so you could hold him and never let him go !  My heart breaks with yours... you will put one foot in front of the other, you will do what you have to, you will find solace in understanding friends and from family that has preceded you on this journey. I know that your strength comes from our Lord Jesus and He will sustain you and see you through, {{{{{{{Hugs and Tears}}}}}}} and much love, Cyndy

I knew Damon as a sweet beautiful baby. I have thought of him and your family many times over the last 24 years. I am so saddened to read about Damon's unexpected passing. There are no words that will ease the pain, but you are surrounded by such a warm and loving family and friends that will help you through it.  My family will be praying that you will find comfort knowing that Damon is in Heaven waiting for a reunion with his family.

Love and prayers

I went to sit with your son for a while yesterday on the 21st of August 2015. I had found one of the funeral cards tacked up to the wall at Malheur Refuge where I now work. SO I sat with him for a while and set all of his flowers and other assorted items upright and made the marker clear of grass and such. Having lost many good people I'm not good with words. I hope this finds you both doing okay. He's very well thought of here at the refuge. Just know he's not forgotten.
