Harold F. Gibson died Thursday, January 30, 2014 at his home in Burns, OR
He was born February 25, 1947 to Frank and Hazel Gibson. As a child he lived at Post, OR and then moved to Riley, OR where he grew up.
He went into the Army and served in Vietnam. He loved his country and was proud of his service.
Harold loved being outdoors, hunting, rodeo, ranching, operating heavy equipment and his family and friends. He had a great passion for history, especially that of Harney County.
Harold is survived by his daughter, Tammy Gibson Mercado of Baker City, OR, a son, Aaron Fairall of Sedro Woolley, WA, daughter Kate Gibson of Springfield, OR, daughter, Angie Gibson of Prairie City, OR, son, Lee Keith of Prairie City, OR
Grandson, Lane Gray of Twentynine Palms, CA Grandson, William Mercado of Whidbey Island, WA, granddaughter Jessica Mercado of Baker City, OR grandson Chase Fairall of Sedro Woolley WA. Grandson Gunner Gibson of Springfield, OR and numerous step grandchildren. A sister, Linda Baker of Burns, OR and his partner in life, Shirley Gibson of Burns, OR
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held Thursday February 6, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Burns Elks Lodge, in Burns, OR
