Jim & Ailene LaFollette bought the funeral home in 1977 from Bob Salladay, when they moved their family from Hillisboro, Oregon to Burns. Jim & Ailene ran the family business until Jim's death in February of 1989. Brian & Bev moved home to help Ailene with the business and later bought the business from Ailene.
